Due to the changing nature of COVID-19, if your hearing is scheduled to be in-person with the administrative law judge (ALJ), the ALJ will determine if precautions are required.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and are requested to isolate under the guidelines published by the North Dakota Department of Health or have symptoms of COVID-19 at the time of the hearing, notify the Office of Administrative Hearings as soon as possible.

If you do not want to attend in-person and make a timely request, the ALJ may allow you to attend the hearing through alternative means.

The ALJ may require participants to wear a face mask during the hearing, and you must bring a face mask to the hearing.

To avoid contact with other hearing participants, bring all your exhibits and the exhibits provided to you by the other party to the hearing.
